Less measuring errors and higher accuracy can be achieved by using the automatic magnification readout (AMR) . The magnification is transferred directly to the DinoCapture software, measurements can be made directly in the LIVE image but also later on the stored images. In order to perform a precise and reliable measurement with your microscope, calibration is required. With the supplied calibration standard and software, calibration is quick and easy. The software guides you through the individual steps and thus guarantees precise calibration.
In microscopy, sufficient illumination is indispensable to obtain detailed images. The Dino-Lite microscopes are equipped with a ring light consisting of eight white LEDs that can be individually dimmed or switched off via FLC technology. The ability to switch the LEDs on and off in pairs opens up further possibilities for optimising the illumination for each type of specimen. In microscopy, the Polarisation filter is an important tool for the appropriate illumination of the samples. Due to its stepless adjustment, the filter can help to reduce unwanted light reflections on the material. Especially when examining reflective surfaces, the polarisation filter is indispensable. The microscope has a front cap system that allows it to work completely without a front cap. Included are various front caps (may vary depending on the microscope) that can be easily attached to the microscope depending on the application to ensure optimal performance and functionality. In particular, the use of diffusers can provide a special type of light diffusion that can help minimise light reflections.
