The microscope is a useful instrument for precise measurements that can be made quickly and easily via the software. With the measurement function you can determine lines, angles, radii and circles. The measurement results and the corresponding image can be exported to Excel at the click of a mouse to create a complete measurement protocol.
With Automatic Magnification Readout (AMR) , the magnification of the microscope is transferred directly to the software, resulting in increased accuracy and a reduction in measurement errors. Measurements can be made both in the live image and in the stored images, enabling comprehensive analysis. In order to perform a precise and reliable measurement with your microscope, calibration is required. With the supplied calibration standard and software, calibration is quick and easy. The software guides you through the individual steps and thus guarantees precise calibration.
An extended depth of field can be displayed with the EDOF function - EDOF means "Extended Depth of Field". Here, the software creates six images in different focal planes and adds them together via photo stacking. The result is an image with a greater depth of field.
Precise illumination is indispensable in microscopy to obtain accurate results. The Dino-Lite microscopes are equipped with a ring light consisting of eight white LEDs. The FLC technology makes it possible to control the brightness of the LEDs individually to optimally adapt the illumination to the requirements of the respective sample. In microscopy, the Polarisation filter is an important tool for the appropriate illumination of the samples. Due to its stepless adjustment, the filter can help to reduce unwanted light reflections on the material. Especially when examining reflective surfaces, the polarisation filter is indispensable. The microscope has a front cap system that allows it to work completely without a front cap. Different front caps are supplied (may vary depending on the microscope) which can be added to the microscope depending on the application. The diffusers in particular create yet another light diffusion that can reduce light reflections.
