With the AMR function (automatic magnification readout) , the magnification is automatically transferred from the microscope to the software. This reduces measurement errors and increases accuracy. Measurements can be made both in the LIVE image and later in the saved images. Calibrating the microscope is an important step in order to be able to perform precise measurements. With the enclosed calibration standard, the microscope can be calibrated with ease and automatically. The DinoCapture software guides you through the necessary steps to ensure a reliable calibration.

An extended depth of field can be displayed with the EDOF function - EDOF means "Extended Depth of Field". Here, the software creates six images in different focal planes and adds them together via photo stacking. The result is an image with a greater depth of field. The microscope has a front cap system that allows it to work completely without a front cap. For optimal adaptation to different applications, various front caps are supplied with the microscope (may vary depending on the microscope), which can be easily mounted. The diffusers in particular create yet another light diffusion that can reduce light reflections.
