By using the EDOF function, images can be captured with an extended depth of field. This technology is particularly useful in product photography to capture small objects with a large depth of field. The microscope has a front cap system that allows it to work completely without a front cap. Front caps are supplied with the microscope (may vary depending on the microscope) and can be easily added to ensure optimal adaptation to the specific application. By using the diffusers, a special light diffusion can be achieved which helps to reduce light reflections.

What are Dino-Lite microscopes? Dino-Lite handheld microscopes are a series of different microscopes that can be connected to a Windows computer or Mac PC via USB. As an alternative to the pure USB models, there is also the wireless series, which can be connected directly to an iPhone / iPad.. The included software enables quick measurement of surfaces and components. Measurement results can be transferred to Excel with a simple click. In addition, the images can be exported into almost any image format for further processing. With up to 5 megapixel resolution, even the small details can be displayed clearly and distinctly. The built-in chipset enables exceptionally good colour and image reproduction. Depending on the handheld microscope, you can achieve up to 900x magnification. However, normal applications are usually between 50x and 230x magnification. Various functions then round off the overall package of the Dino-Lite microscopes.
