The microscope is a useful instrument for precise measurements that can be made quickly and easily via the software. With the measurement function you can determine lines, angles, radii and circles. The measurement results and the corresponding image can be exported to Excel at the click of a mouse to create a complete measurement protocol.
With the AMR function (automatic magnification readout) , the magnification of the microscope is transferred directly to the software, resulting in increased accuracy and a reduction in measurement errors. Measurements can be made both in the live image and in the stored images, enabling comprehensive analysis. Careful calibration is essential for precise and reliable measurements with your microscope. With the supplied calibration standard and easy-to-use software, calibration can be done quickly and easily. The software guides you through the necessary steps and guarantees accurate and reliable calibration.
An extended depth of field can be displayed with the EDOF function - EDOF means "Extended Depth of Field". Here, the software creates six images in different focal planes and adds them together via photo stacking. The result is an image with a greater depth of field.
In microscopy, sufficient illumination is indispensable to obtain detailed images. The Dino-Lite microscopes are equipped with a ring light consisting of eight white LEDs that can be individually dimmed or switched off via FLC technology. The ability to switch the LEDs on and off in pairs opens up further possibilities for optimising the illumination for each type of specimen. The Polarisation filter is also used for suitable illumination of the specimens. Due to the infinitely variable adjustment, light reflections occurring on the material can be reduced as far as possible.. The microscope is equipped with an advanced front cap system that allows you to work without a front cap and have an even better view of the object under examination. Included are various front caps (may vary depending on the microscope) that can be easily attached to the microscope depending on the application to ensure optimal performance and functionality. By using diffusers, a different type of light scattering can be achieved, which reduces light reflections and thus enables better image quality.
